NA Miata Manual Steering Rack Guide Bushing — OEM Replacement (1990-1997)

Finally, a replacement bushing for your clunking NA Miata manual rack and pinion.

Since Mazda stopped producing the bushing HE09-32-201 over a decade ago, we've created our own to effectively replace worn or completely destroyed factory bushings.

Crafted with our new, tougher composite that is guaranteed to last. Not some 3D printed bushing that breaks when installing or one track day.

These are hand made in batches and sell out quickly.

Fitment: 90-97 NA Factory Manual Rack and pinion (Passenger Side Only)

Installation:

Best performed with the rack removed from the car.

1. Remove both tie rods to expose the rack shaft
2. Slide the pinion gear out to free the steering rack shaft
3. Slide the rack shaft out through the driver side of the rack housing
4. Now with the steering shaft not in the way, unstall the new bushing onto the shaft with the 3 tabs facing inward toward the rack body (opposite of the product photo)
5. Line the 3 tabs up with the corresponding holes on the rack housing
6. Press it in by hand until all 3 tabs click firmly into place
7. Reassemble in reverse order
