Save Your Thrust Bearings

Every time you start your car and press the clutch pedal down you are putting a fair load onto your thrust bearing with no oil pressure. When you have an aftermarket clutch, it is even worse. This damages your engine every time you start the car.

How It Works: By disabling the starter interlock, you can start your car without having to press the clutch pedal down, therefore taking the load off the thrust bearing. This is especially important if you are using an aftermarket or Heavy duty clutch with increased pressure plate clamping force.

Things To Consider: Please ensure you have your car in Neutral once installing this Clutch Starter Interlock Bypass as it will be possible to start the car while it is in gear. Does exactly what it's supposed to. Bypass clutch press to start. Much cleaner than your typical paperclip route. MAKE SURE YOU'RE IN NEUTRAL.

Easy modification for my NB miata with aftermarket upgraded clutch.

Just what I needed to bypass the clutch lockout. That part of the ignition harness has a short and this helped me to start my car easily every time. Just remember to take it out of gear before starting or push the clutch in regardless.

Super fast shipping, just no instructions but I found some online. I dunno if the previous owner did work down there, but it literally took me about two minutes since maybe the kick panel was already taken out? If you look in my photo, the teal circle is the part itself. You just have to disconnect the thing the male side is originally connected to, which is near my finger in the left of the picture.
